With more than 20 years of experience in Offshore Wind, I have managed risks and opportunities in Offshore Wind projects globally from the early days of Offshore Wind. Leading world renowned design departments and markets globally, I have been at the forefront of design, innovation and supply chain handling and have obtained a profound understanding of opportunities and constraints, rewards and pitfalls, possibilities and hazards in the renewable energy industry
As an independent advisor I can provide the impartial experience that will reduce risks and costs to your projects.
Offshore wind is a technology that comes to all corners of the world. Areas prone to typhoon and seismic activity and with untested supply chains are increasingly in play. The growth takes place alongside a technological development with increasing turbine size, larger foundations and bigger marine installation vessels. At the same time requirements to both grid connection and interaction with new PtX technologies increases.
To ensure that new projects are at the forefront of the development, the experience and lessons learned through past projects need to be incorporated into every new project.

First projects for foundation design included Gravity Based Foundations for Rødsand 2 and Monopile foundations for London Array and Dantysk. London Array with 630 MW remained the largest offshore wind project in the world for a period of 8 years.
Projects in Asia started up with the first monopile projects in Taiwan followed by the first jacket foundation projects in seismic and typhoon prone areas.
Preparatory projects for Japans new offshore wind energy supply started up and subsequently projects in South Korea
Onjila-consult was established and started advisory services to offshore wind clients
